NOC Engineer Job Description

NOC Engineer Responsibilites

  • Provide network surveillance and first-line troubleshooting for the transmission network.
  • Responsible for network monitoring, SLA, communication with Back Office and problem tracking.
  • Constant communication with the client and field staff.
  • Perform remote preventive maintenance of Transmission equipment and prepare technical reports.
  • Monitor at the system level that the work carried out in the sites with the optical fiber remain in acceptable levels of optical power (splices)
  • Monitor and diagnose the quality tests of the new services to verify that they meet the requirements requested by customers.
  • Prepare manuals according to the activities to be performed according to the technologies, brands and models of equipment used in the fiber network.
